No room for domestic violence

Every three days, a woman dies as a result of domestic violence. This shocking reality shows: Violence is not a private matter. With the "No room for domestic violence" campaign, we are raising awareness and calling on people to take responsibility – together as a society.

Help & Advice

Those affected by domestic violence will find a broad network of confidential support services in Lower Saxony. Don't look the other way; seek help instead.

What is domestic violence?

Domestic violence involves more than just physical violence. It often takes place in private settings and often remains undetected for a long time.

How can landlords make a difference?

Landlords can make an important contribution by making information available and raising awareness of the warning signals amongst employees and the neighbourhood. By cooperating with specialist agencies, they strengthen the protection of those affected in the long term.
